UKUTULA, meaning “Place of Quiet”, is a private game reserve comprising 260 hectares of unspoiled bushveld boasting a variety of antelope species, giraffe and zebra. Ukutula is also home to various big cat and other predator species as well as more than 130 different bird species . Since its .
Since its inception in 2006, UKUTULA has taken a stand against ANY activity that is not in support of the welfare of any animal as it stands in sharp contrast to our belief that we are caretakers of our wildlife and environment.
Captive animals in particular are deserving of special care and consideration as their well-being and comfort become not only our responsibility, but our duty.
Since the start of 2020, the global influence of this Govid-19 pandemic, has hit hard, especially the tourism industry. Ukutula has not been an exception, with many tourists having to cancel their bookings and intended visit to Ukutula and our animals.
However, since YOU cannot travel to visit us during this time, we have decided to bring our animals to YOU and in doing so – and with your positive support and participation, Ukutula will be able to keep our “virtual doors open’ and remain self-sustainable in taking the best care possible of these beautiful animals during this challenging time!
WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT OF WILDLIFE CONSERVATION !
